Louis D. Haussmann elected President of Baxter & Woodman, Inc.
Baxter & Woodman, Inc., announces a strategic reorganization of the leadership team aimed at optimizing operational efficiency and driving continued growth.
At Baxter & Woodman’s annual shareholder meeting on April 19, 2024, the company’s Board of Directors elected Louis D. Haussmann, PE, PTOE, PTP to the role of President. As President, Haussmann will oversee the operations of the business, including managing departments, enhancing efficiencies through technology, and ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives. Haussmann’s leadership skills and extensive experience in his role as Chief Operating Officer since 2012 make him well-qualified for this promotion.
John V. Ambrose, PE, will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), offering strategic direction and leadership for the company. Ambrose will concentrate on shaping the company’s long-term vision and focus on driving growth, including through key mergers and acquisitions.

Haussmann holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (1997) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (1995) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
