Mr. John V. Ambrose serves as Baxter & Woodman’s Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership the firm actively pursues growth initiatives and strategic investments. These actions include guiding several successful acquisitions, opening six new offices, and enhancing the firm’s civil/technology service offerings for clients by almost doubling the B&W workforce. Mr. Ambrose oversees business development efforts and strategic leadership of the firm’s operations, including subsidiaries Concentric Integration, Baxter & Woodman Natural Resources and Baxter & Woodman/Boller Design Build.
As President and the Chief Operating Officer of Baxter & Woodman, Mr. Louis D. Haussmann oversees the operations of the business, including managing departments, implementing strategic initiatives, enhancing efficiencies through emerging technology, and ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives. Lou’s focus is on driving operational excellence by fostering innovation, ensuring the company’s continued success and growth.
Mr. Derek J. Wold leads Baxter & Woodman’s Water Group. Mr. Wold is a nationally recognized water/wastewater expert having collaborated with municipalities, sanitary and utility districts, and leaders in the wastewater industry to develop and implement energy saving processes. He has developed specialized expertise in biological nutrient removal, implemented biogas treatment and utilization, conducted numerous energy audits, and instituted performance contracting to increase energy efficiency while guaranteeing the savings outweigh project costs. Mr. Wold is also leading the firm’s efforts to provide wastewater services in Costa Rica.
Mr. Michael Kurzy oversees the firm’s Texas operations and guides staff from the Houston office location. He has been instrumental in improving organizational process and efficiency in the region. Mr. Kurzy also supports the firm’s Texas business development efforts by fostering existing client relationships, engaging with prospective clients, and identifying growth opportunities throughout Texas.
Ms. Rebecca Travis oversees the firm’s Florida region operations and guides staff located throughout the region’s four offices. She is focused on analyzing and improving the firm’s organizational process and efficiency. Ms. Travis also directs Florida business development efforts by fostering existing client relationships, engaging with prospective clients, and identifying growth opportunities throughout the region.
Mr. Sean O’Dell currently serves as the firm’s Water Group Executive Vice President overseeing the planning, design, and rehabilitation of water and wastewater infrastructure. Mr. O’Dell actively volunteers in various causes within the AEC industry and has held numerous roles in the American Public Works Association (APWA) including Southwest Branch President and Chicago Metro Chapter President, and most recently was elected to serve as Region V Director on the APWA National Board of Directors.
Mr. Michael Klein is the President of Concentric Integration, a subsidiary of Baxter & Woodman specializing in technology solutions such as instrumentation, controls, SCADA systems, telemetry systems, and information technology. Leading a team of system integrators, project managers, and IT consultants, Mr. Klein oversees strategic planning and directs technology project planning, design, and implementation. His dedication to excellence and client-centric approach have garnered accolades, solidifying Concentric’s position as an industry leader.
