B&W Scholarship Fund
The Baxter & Woodman Civil Engineering Scholarship was created in 2020 to honor firm founders Lorrin Woodman and Richard Baxter. Together they established a legacy of client service, engineering practices that protect public health and safety, and giving back to the community. These forward-thinking entrepreneurs launched a company that now, more than 75 years later, employs 400+ people located in multiple states who are dedicated to continuing their story and service.
The Baxter & Woodman Civil Engineering Scholarship awards $1,000 as support and encouragement to outstanding students pursuing a civil engineering degree at a four-year college or university. This is offered within all regions of the firm.
In 2025 we distributed scholarships to 10 students.
The application period for the 2025 scholarship has closed. Check back next year for the 2026 scholarship application.
